La ‘chauffeuse’,
Looking back at the stoneware properties.

In the XIXe century, ‘stones’ or ‘bricks’ were put in the countryside worker’s pockets or in the folds of bedsheets, keeping people warm through the winter.

Stoneware naturally stores the heat durabilly. La chauffeuse is a set of three objects releasing a long lasting warmth troughout several hours.
The set highlights the great quality of stoneware by looking at our legacy to consider the tradition afresh.
